Main Area

• Put away big tables
• Put chairs out
• Empty trash bin

Presentation Setup

• Set up projector
• Set up speakers, microphone

Shelf Projects

• Make sure shelf projects have batteries (useless machine, LED heart...)

Staff

• All staff must wear badges
• Two staff volunteers (Chinese, English) give guided tours
  • Please read Guided tour guidelines

Setting up Presenters

• Make sure presenters have arrived
• Decide on the presentation order
• Make sure presenters understand the Wednesday talk rules
  • MAXIMUM TIME GUIDELINE

Event Schedule

Opening:

1. Welcome guests
2. Brief intro of XCJ (elevator pitch, example: XCJ is a community run hackerspace what's hackerspace, what we do)
   1. 30 seconds elevator pitch of XCJ
3. Ask who is a first time visitor. Tell them to join guided tour after talks
4. Brief summary of tonight's presentations

Presentations (presentation 1, 2, 3)

Ending:

1. Quick membership pitch, how to sign up
2. Pitch on upcoming events
3. Thank the presenters and audience
4. Explain drinks policy, payment on wall
5. Invite visitors to join guided tour
   1. For tour follow person A for English, person B for Chinese...
6. Thank everyone for coming
   1. Follow us on Weibo, Blog, etc... for more news!
