  • The 3rd week of February: 1.4K + from Maciej 2 hours workshops

  • Maciej - Ukulele workshop, Very expensive, nobody apply for that, will be CANCELED
  • March 4th weekend: Teacher Huang: physics experiment: induction wireless
  • March 19th: Toky team - Toky robots workshop
  • March 26th: Workshop from Roger on hydroponics
  • weekly open workshop: open on Sunday up to 3 hours (workshops)

  • Put together an overview of XCJ and what we do for Government after spring festival: ALREADY DONE
    • They want buy our class and pay money for kids competition

Finances

  • Ricky to take responsibility for the space - current owners (Mika and Edward) need to make the change

  • To transfer biz from Qingpu to Jing'an for local support - Freda to support
    • Paper, stamp to go to Qingpu (next week Paul) already go to Qingpu for search which company we register, but over 6 company use this register address, Freda need help:(
    • Move to Jing'an cost 3-4 months, and pay 6000+ for work - Did you guys confirmed ?
    • Check with accountant, impact on business

XinCheJian Cleanup

  • Freda: will continue the cleaning after spring festival, machine room rebuild beginning. P2 Space designer will give blueprint. Cost 2-3 days for build and move it.
    • Rock refused to let us work in the work time
    • met with Bob for negotiating for rent for machine room and blueprint
    • post picture on the group -> set it aside in outgoing table -> throw away

Space Safety (0 weeks no incidents)

  • INCIDENT THIS WEEK: metal stuff from top shelf of urban farming fell down, hurt freda head
    • RESOLUTION: custom shelves (particulate board, Fenyang road)
  • Sensibilization
    • send out incidents elsewhere
    • make old and new members read about the charter
  • Enabling the individual members to call out individual safety first.
    • Call out safety to group, have a discussion, address objections.
    • if objections not addressed satisfactorily
    • Enforce safety workshop usage
  • Ban for people that present a risk as collectively assessed

Physical security also include making sure we don't get things stolen

Biolab

  • Last Saturday meet up (2 people came!, but no staff for service and meet up) - will push harder after Chinese New Year
    • main people are busy, this Saturday at 14h30 meetup for Biolab
    • Looking for safety hood for Biolab; to be built out of plexiglass. Ventilation (installing fans, hole, platform)

  • Mushroom Cloud and StarSpace want make Bluetooth group forum, but no money ask xinchejian member to mushroom cloud join this meeting, Agree or not? NO
    • Promote to send the invitation to conference invite March 10th at Innospace

    • already sent their choices and prepare to apply money for us

Space Manager discussions

  • Bring up new constraint for the space at the staff meeting, please ask for review (WeChat, email)

Project Room & Machine Room

  • FREDA: asks for applicants from members for project room (2K/month equivalent for branding, workshops, money, equipment)
  • FREDA: ask for more update from helicopter simulator project, report on progress and evaluate their contributions to XinCheJian.
    • Kids helicopter workshop: 1K to 2K RMB
    • V2 will be finished soon, will run a series of workshop (many classes)
