3D Printing is generally handled by Xinchejian's cooperation with Xinfab.

Three-dimensional printing or 3D printing (also called additive manufacturing) is any of various processes used to make a three-dimensional object. In 3D printing, additive processes are used, in which successive layers of material are laid down under computer control. These objects can be of almost any shape or geometry, and are produced from a 3D model or other electronic data source. A 3D printer is a type of industrial robot.

3D Printing at Xinchejian

Xinchejian has a few 3D printers. They are maintained by Xinfab.

Fees for printing

If you do not need any help with calibration, the fees are:

* Costs are essentially pay for materials
* 2 RMB per gram for XINCHEJIAN MEMBERS

If you need the help of Xinfab personnel, you will have to pay for their time. Please ask them about the costs of their help.

Workshops

• Xinfab generally runs 3D Printing workshops every 2-3 months.
