Open Night

Xinchejian hosts Open Nights (also called "open house") on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM at the space. The event is free and open to the public. The main goals of the Open Nights are to:

• Share ideas
• Meet people interested in DIY / hacking
• Introduce new people to Xinchejian

What happens at Open Night

Xinchejian usually has 2-3 presenters who will speak for 5-9 minutes.

Schedule

• 7:00 PM: Presentations start with an introduction to XinCheJian
• 7:10 PM: Guests presentations start
• 7:45 PM: Guests presentations finished, Q&A for XinCheJian and visits
• 8:00 PM: Additional events start (Makers' Hour or other guest events)

Xinchejian Open Nights usually have around 30-40 people who attend.

The talks are in both English and Chinese.
